Benefits of Diaper Bags

For many people, having a diaper bag is just common sense. Some people don't use them, they use a backpack, a purse, anything they can find that doesn't look like a real diaper bag. It's almost like they're ashamed of needing to carry diapers and wipes with them.

I guess that's why bag makers go to such great lengths to make their product the most trendy, which usually means decorative and looks like something else.

You could use a standard bag, and if the cost is less I'm all for it. But real diaper bags have the advantage of compartments that are properly placed for easy access to standard bag items. The typical backpack won't have a place for cold bottle storage, or an inside pocket for a travel pack of baby wipes. Real diaper bags are designed and layed out specificially to make the lives of moms easier.

If you want your hubby to carry the bag without wrinkling his face then get one that looks a little more masculine. But if you just get a plain bag you'll run into the problem of having all your stuff in a big ball at the bottom of bag and you'll be constantly digging around for the item you want. If it's a small toy just forget it. You'll find it next year.
